Hi! I’m Jenny Larsen

M.A., MCS, GCDF

I’m a certified life coach, certified career coach, & certified aptitude testing specialist, wife, and mom of 5 young adults, aged twenty-five to twenty-eight ( a singleton and quadruplets). I’m also a mother-in-love to two wonderful young men and a dog mom.

I love Jesus, a good mystery, quality time with family and friends, travel, and helping moms whose kids are getting older thrive in their current chapter and envision a next chapter they’ll love.

Being the mom of a singleton + quadruplets was more than a full-time job while the kids were growing up. But I remember clearly when I dropped our youngest off at kindergarten – it hit me that things were shifting and, little by little, I was going to be out of a job.

And as they entered middle school and high school, I really saw that they no longer needed me in quite the same way.

I knew it wasn’t going to be too much longer before our oldest would be heading off to college, and our quadruplets would be close to driving age.

On one hand, this was awesome news – my brain said freedom!  But, if I was being honest, I was also feeling a bit lost… where did I fit in the whole picture?

I definitely was working myself out of a job. What I wanted, of course. But still… I had happily poured all my energies into investing in our family, and now what?

The career path I had planned for when attending graduate school, now didn’t seem like such a great fit…

I wondered what my thing could be.

My relationships with the kids were changing as they were getting older and growing close to moving out of the house – it made my head spin sometimes navigating those emotionally charged waters.

Actually, most relationships seemed like they were in flux in one way or another – with my husband, parents and in-law’s, church and school friends I wasn’t seeing as frequently due to changing schedules and kids’ activities, and so on…

And then the self-doubts and the worries… was I too old? Too out of the game? How could I balance it all? Had I done enough with the kids so they could succeed? The list could go on and on.

I know what it feels like to be in the swirl of changing relationships, self-doubts, and uncertainty about what to do next.

I found coaching and started the process of rediscovering myself, developing a vision for my next chapter, reconfiguring my past education, training, and experiences, along with new training, to create a purposeful area of contribution that fits with my life, while learning the skills to navigate the changing relationship waters.

I learned the way through and created a life I love.

I founded my aptitude testing and coaching practice, 2:10 Consulting, in 2011, to take the career direction worry off of each mom and wife’s mind.

Jenny Larsen Coaching came out of having worked with hundreds upon hundreds of clients, students, moms, men and women of all ages, all over the world. I’ve seen the common worries, struggles, and doubts and realize that just knowing your direction isn’t the whole answer to navigating all the changes.

I love helping all my clients, but especially moms. I’ve been there, I know what it’s like, and I know the way through.

I work with clients in one of three ways:

My individualized one-on-one coaching program designed to support you and teach you the skills needed for the three large areas of change during this time:

My coaching membership THRIVE which is designed to give you 24/7 online support and a group coaching format. In THRIVE we focus on:

Aptitude testing to objectively discover your natural abilities and talents.

This is an entirely strengths-based, objective process (you’re not answering questions about yourself, but completing games & challenges). The benefits of this process are huge – my clients routinely experience:

My clients experience renewed confidence in themselves and in their ability to navigate the changing relationship waters that come with growing children. They also find new hope and joy regardless of what’s going on around them. In addition, they develop a clarity of direction and a purposeful vision for their next chapter.

Are you ready to proactively take a step towards creating a next chapter and life you love?
